Can anyone please give me a bit of feedback on my skirt muslin? This is just a fitting shell (vogue 1004). I know nothing about getting patterns to fit me, so I have a lot to learn.

Changes I made: I added to the waist-- mostly at the front panel. I then moved the hip line up an inch.

I see that the waist of the skirt falls below my true waist, so I guess the waist was taken out too much (maybe??). I also see the drag lines on the back of the skirt. And I see that the side seams shift towards the front of my body.

I hope the pictures work...

(Edited to add pictures. Thank you, Connie BJ.)

Ok so I guess the pictures don't show up. Sorry!

Can anyone tell me where the testing board is?

The photo info looks like it is from your blog but I don't see anything on your blog about skirt fitting. Is that where the photo is coming from?
Here is a link to posting on the message boards- photo info is near the bottom. Posting thread

And here is the practice board. Practice Board

I'm sure someone will be able to help you once we see the photos! Good luck!

Looks like your photos are working now. If this is supposed to be a fitting shell that falls at the natural waist, it is sliding down - hike it up and you'll probably need to take it in at the waist to keep it there. Otherwise it looks pretty decent, except for the side seams slanting. I suspect that that is due to the fact that you have a flatter bottom than the pattern expects - take out the excess fabric in the back (there are a few different ways to approach it, look for flat bottom adjustments in your fitting books) and you should be good to go.

If you want to wear this at your waist, just take in take it in the amount you need dividing evenly between side seams and darts.
You need some more room at the side seams at your hip level. You can see it in the front as well. This is why you've got drag lines pointing to your rear end. Very minor fitting issues.
