Has anyone heard any updated information about Pattern Rescue? It has not been updated since fall of last year. I know the owners had been having some health problems.

My main question is, what did they do with all the patterns that were donated? I sent some to them that I know for a fact never ended up on the website since it never really got up and running again. I'd like to know what has happened to all the patterns people donated for the purpose of being kept from being thrown out or not used.

I hunted through all my notes, and my email...I thought they had sent a note out explaining that they needed help. Does anyone remember what happened?

I also would like to know where the patterns went. I donated a large number of vintage patterns for a friend and put her mom's name out there for the website. No info!

Thank you so much for your reply marec. I don't think I was on the e-mail list so I never heard any news.

Did anyone else send patterns there that were never listed?

Same here. I donated a huge number of patterns, then the site went down and although I saw that the owner had some family health problems going on, I never heard anything else from them.

I sent them an e-mail last night to the address on the site. No response yet, but I will let you all know if I get one.

I sent the email on the 10th but so far I haven't had any luck in getting a reply. My email was polite and I just stated I was curious about the patterns since I had donated some. Maybe the e-mail listed on the site is no longer being checked?

I had donated quite a few patterns also and had actually forgotten about the site. I also recall the email about the health issues with the owners of the site.

A while back, I sent some money to help them with their site. They sent me a prompt thank you and that is all I remember. I hope they can get things going again. These days there are numerous events that can put projects like this on the backburner whether it be health or economic issues. I think they were out of Rochester NY--- maybe they need some help? Anyone local that knows?
