My brother in Ohio (I'm in SC) wants me to make him a western shirt. I have made him a bunch of Hawaiian shirts and had a pattern I liked. So now he changes his mind, Anyway, I found a C&C 109 Western shirt pattern on Ebay. I like the yoke variations. Has anyone tried these patterns? Do they run true to size? Thanks.

I would definitely get his measurements and check them against the pattern before making something as detailed as a western shirt. Good luck and post some pictures when finished.

I used to sew for square dancers and have made dresses using their patterns, but never the shirts. If you're looking for a current western shirt pattern, Kwik Sew has one #3506. Also Etsy has several vintage Kwik Sew western shirt patterns.
------ My grandmother taught me to sew when I was 10, and I've been sewing ever since.
