My SIL sent me this text last night:

"Bought some tracing paper, along with all that fabric. I'll make you a deal - if ever live nearby, I'll do your tracing if you do my zippers."

All this and she puts up with one of my bratty kid brothers!

Heck, I'll do your tracing if you do my zippers. Just spent all day Monday replacing the zipper on a vest. I think I sewed it in a total of 4 times

Thanks for raising the issue of having a great SIL. My beloved SIL is the sister I never had. She buys me great cookbooks and I just rolled a hem on a leopard print scarf for her. This matches the leopard "skin" shoes I talked her into a year ago. She is pretty tame in public and needed a little nudge. Deborah is just the best person my brother could ever marry. Too bad they are on the right coast and I'm on the left.

A great big to all wonderful SILs who are above and beyond! Even if they don't sew much . . . yet.
