I'm still learning that I don't have to always "follow the rules" of the pattern company. This cardigan has no button holes and I started not to use any interfacing and now feel like I have to tack the collar down because it feels bulky.

Using the right interfacing can make a huge difference. I recently bought Fashion Sewing Supply's Pro-Tricot after reading raves here on PR for Pam's interfacings, and used it on a very lightweight knit. I was really happy with it. Pam is wonderful and will send you samples. ...and if that's what you were using already, then my guess is that nothing would work!
Yes definitely give Fashion Sewing Supply a go,, you will not be disappointed. As for ponti I recently finished simple skirts with ponte and used fashion fabric for facings and no interfacing or elastic and it worked beautifully. Hth
I always buy Pellon too; I seldom buy stuff online. Were you using the knit interfacing? I haven't had any problems with it but I seldom interface a knit anyway. I have that pattern. I would like to know how that pattern turns out in the ponte knit.

This is such an interesting question to me! I really like this pattern but I haven't gotten it yet because I noticed how the peplum had lots of body. I assumed that came from interfacing or some complicated technique that I don't know yet. I'll check your blog for updates!
