So, it's probably good that you can't see it up close because it's so far from perfect, but I'm actually pretty proud of it. I just recently got a machine and I haven't sewn for over a decade. It was a lot of work but I think he looks cute in it and now I have a little more confidence (and lessons learned by SO many mistakes) to try some more things.

Awesome!

Are a horn helmet and hammer in the works?

Thanks:) I could probably dress him in a pillow case and it would still look great, though. He's just one of those canvases that make everything look good. ;)

Hello millshre

I've been wondering how you've been since your new sewing machine arrived.

Now I see you have made a very cute costume for your son...and a wonderful memory as well. You're right...your son would look adorable in anything...but he is wonderful in the costume you made and he seems to be really enjoying wearing it.

Keep in mind you are not alone in your sewing projects...PR members are always ready with an answer or a hearty try to help at least.

Adorable! Not to worry, at his age, you'll have plenty more costumes to perfect your skills. Besides, sewing costumes for children is so gratifying as they are so appreciative of anything made just for them!

Thanks everyone!

I think I just needed to get that one project out of the way to get the courage to keep going. Now I've already made two cloth diapers and am working on a costume for my very unappreciative dog.
