On another forum I was reading about how great Lekala is--and how nice it is to receive a custom-to-your-measurements pattern and for such a low price (usually between 1 and 3 dollars). So, I've been browsing through their site.
One thing I noticed that I thought I'd pass on is that they are currently offering a "bundle package" of all their custom free patterns for you to try out. I hadn't noticed they were offering them bundled before, so went ahead and ordered one to see how they are. The link to the page is here.
However, as I look through the site, I can't help wondering if the whole business is being run with something similar to My Pattern Designer, which seems to do the same kind of thing: input your measurements, get customized patterns.
Has anyone used My Pattern Designer? Do you like it? Is this basically what Lekala has built their business on? Thoughts?
Yes, I started a blog.

I have My Pattern Designer. I bought this software a few years ago right after I started garment sewing again after 15 years of quilting.
The pattern is printed out using your home printer and you have to tape the pieces of paper together. I wasn't willing to work with the measurements enough to get a great fit. I do get an OK fit. The pattern pieces don't always align but they are close. If you are new to garment sewing then this isn't the software for you as the instruction are very generic, so you need to know how things go together or have a good sewing book.
I have not used this software as much as I thought I would.
You can download a free version and see how you like it.
