Carpal tunnel surgery was two weeks ago today and I have to say I am VERY pleased with the results ! NO MORE PAIN !!! Even post surgical pain wasn't bad. I took the prescription pain pills for just 24 hours and OTC pain pills since when needed.

Today, the stitches came out. I truely do NOT like that feeling of intense vulnerability when I get stitches taken out. But it's GOOD .
Overall, I am so happy I finally had it done.

Glad to hear it was successful! Here's to many more years of sewing.

The muscles are very weak, so of course I jumped into action yesterday and my hand and forearm muscles are screaming at me today LOL
It will come around :)

I did the same thing after I got my stitches out last week
The good news is that I'm pretty much back to full strength again with just a little ache here and there. Hope you mend quickly (and keep that vitamin E oil slathered on).

It is a wonderful surgery and fixes the problem. 15 years later the pain has not come back.

YAYYYY! over the last two weeks I've made a T shirt quilt and a teddy bear from Army fatigues Sewing is going great !
Still dealing with aches and nerve regeneration. Oh and bumped the heel of my hand on the dog gate and about went through the roof. Don't think I"ll be shooting again until March or so. I would not be able to deal with the impact from recoil.

So we should visit before March?

It's great that you are sewing again and, presumably, with much more ease and comfort than before the surgery.
