I got an email this morning from Craftsy saying they're doing a drawing where 5 lucky people will win 5 classes on their wishlist. The drawing is next Monday (the 25th) so you only have this week to add classes to your wishlist if you don't have 5 already!

I've not taken any of the paid classes yet - I only discovered Craftsy recently and have been waffling over which one to try first after trying out the freebies. Currently the 5 on my wishlist are:

40 Techniques Every Sewer Should Know
Sewing on the Edge: Finishing Techniques
The Couture Dress
Pant Construction Techniques
Pant Fitting Techniques

So, what's on your wishlist? What classes have you taken that you loved and absolutely insist everybody else should put on theirs? What classes were duds and should be replaced by something else?

The Couture Dress is amazing! Definitely worth paying for, if you don't win it! I also recommend Angela Wolf's classes. Her new jeans class is fantastic, as are her other two classes (Creative serging and altering RTW). If couture sewing is of particular interest, I also highly recommend The Iconic Tweed Jacket. I bit the bullet and bought it after leaving it in my wish list all of three days. It is very much along the lines of Susan Khalje's class: thorough, excellent demonstration of technique that increases your confidence in being able to produce beautiful work.

I've been taking quilt classes, and waiting for the sewing ones to go on sale at one point or another. Maybe I should put some of the more expensive classes on my wishlist!

Wait to see if you win, then enroll in one if you don't. Craftsy is fabulous. I've got a slew on classes on their, and you never go wrong. The instructors are all first-rate and specialists in their field. And you go at your own pace and time. You cannot go wrong! I love Craftsy and have for several years now!

Out of those classes I think The Couture Dress is my favourite, however I haven't reviewed Pant Construction Techniques or Pant Fitting Techniques as of yet - just have to find the time.
One of my favourite classes has probably got to be Sew Better, Sew Faster: Garment Industry Secrets - it really sped up how fast I sew and I love the freedom of not having to use pins.
