I am a long time owner of this Capitol 600 machine, but I moved about 9 years ago and cannot seem to locate any of the presser feet. I did locate the cam case all cams inclosed. If anyone is familiar with this machine could you please let me know where I might locate attachments.

Hello Marcia

All I can offer is a welcome to PR. I have looked online and find very little information on a Capitol 600 sewing machine...let alone any source for presser feet...not even on ebay.

Maybe other PR members will have more help for you. Good luck.

Marcia,
It's often helpful to show your location (at least the country) in your profile so members know where to direct you for help.

lol i thought i was the best grammy oh i must be the best Mimi
anyway in all my researching my machine i found out it uses a low shank presser foot. I am attaching a great website for presser feet etc. http://goldstartool.com/Sewing_Machine_Presser_Feet/
I did purchase two different presser feet from them and both are perfect.

Hello, I have or had a Capitol 900 with original manual, and all kinds of feet. The machine was a workhorse for me but it can no longer be repaired. my repairman told me that a part inside that allows the machine to switch stitch styles and it did have a lot. for lack of a better way of explaining it the stitches were built in in a sort of stachable cams inside that you could switch with a turn knob on the outside as you went thru the menu listed on the front. Anyway the machine took low shank presser feet. I took the machine apart as much as I could because finding parts for these machines are hard to do. The motor still runs great and it has an attached plug. If anyone is interested in the parts which would include the motor, please let me know. I have gone onto a Singer 401 and am in awe with what it can do.
