After posting a New Year's wish elsewhere, I listed 2 resolutions for 2014. One is to make one garment a month for me, including posting a review. When I checked to see if there was a 2014 topic up yet, there wasn't. So, who's in this year?

I need to get myself re-centered and accomplish this goal.

My other resolution is to finish sorting the detritus from our office and DH's life accomplishments and store what is important to keep so that my sewing room can be set up in that beautiful space we meant to be his studio. I'm putting a due date on that project, June 1st.

Will be keeping you posted on my progress. Please share yours!

My goal is to finish one UFO a month. I don't dare count how many I have I would blush with shame.

I just want to make time to sew each month....some months seem to go by with nothing accomplished {sigh}.

With my son now in men's clothing sizes (at least store bought, some patterns), and my daughter shooting up, it will probably be half for them, half for me, but still...I *need* to sew every month

Oh my, Larisa! I just always think of your kiddos as being young tykes. Have I been on PR long enough to witness them growing up? Wow!

Best wishes for your sewing in 2014.

Good for you!

It might seem wasteful or lazy or something equally bad, but I've decided that it has been awhile for most of the UFOs that might be lurking about. Unless I really love a thing, the UFOs are going...banished to recycle heaven. My life needs to be set free of anything that might drag it down. Only the positive, happy and constructive gets to stay.

I would like to join this group. I love to sew, but rarely make time for it. This year it is going to be different. I, too, have many UFOs. So, my sewing will include those and also fresh, new projects as well. Thanks for starting this thread, Eleanor! :)

I actually just said to my husband last night that I thought my New Year's Resolution for 2014 would be to sew one garment or other project a month! I hadn't thought about the posting a review part but I guess that would be a way to mark my progress. I'm in!

Count me in. I'm entirely too good at starting projects and then having problems finishing them! It helps if I don't lose part of them in the process.

Count me in! I have a few UFOs that I will finish and a few I will just let go! I will also go through stash and either sew or donate it. I've had a Brother PE770 embroidery machine for a year and have only practiced on it. I want to USE it this year to monogram but first need to learn how to download and transfer the monogram fonts (intertwined or vine) that my girls want on shirts, etc. ( Any advice with that would be greatly appreciated!) Last but not least, organize the sewing/guest room!!!!
