Hubby surprised me with a new Isodore Innovis 5000 after the embroidery part on the Viking Quilt Designer 2 started giving me problems. I test drove several machines and decided for the price/features this one was the best option. I can't find any reviews on the web though, does anyone have any thoughts on it? I do primarily garment sewing, with some heavy duty/horse stuff, and embroider anything that stands still long enough.

I found this right here on PR:

These members seem to love it.

Hi, This machine is just like my Brother Duetta, but with different embroidery designs. It is a good machine.

You already have the machine? After a few months of use, you could do a review for others who may be curious about this brand and model.

Not sure about the "heavy duty horse stuff". That may be better sewn with a commercial machine.

Yes, I was thinking about the horse related sewing also. If you will be sewing on extra heavy fabric or leather, you would probably need a commercial sewing machine.

I already have a heavy duty machine, so I'll just continue to use that for the horse stuff. I don't have it yet, they didn't have it in stock except for the floor model... should arrive tomorrow. I'm very excited.
