Check out this video from Dec. 13, where Chanel featured their collection in the Dallas rodeo arena.

I think it is so creative, the perfect venue for this show.

Interesting....very western in a Paris way! Loved the cowboy boots!!!! Awesome...I wonder if Chanel is making those??? Thanks for sharing and hopefully I have picked up some ideas (if I can remember them by the time I get to needing them)

I liked almost all those garments, they are something I would really not expect from Karl Lagerfeld, but a nice surprise. I still don't think he has yet outdone Ralph Lauren on that kind of thing though.

My favorite current ladies Western Designer is Marrika Nakk,

whom has a Studio in Los Angeles, but she comes from Sweden. I wish Vouge Patterns would have a few "Designer Patterns" of Marrika Nakk garments to sew. Like her princes skirts and stuff. I think that would be lots of fun.

I liked the fact that it is a tribute to America, all it's past. I liked the tailored combined with the frills, and the American Indian influence in some pieces and the diversity of the show. In Paris, the Coco Chanel western pieces she owned are in the museum there.
