Lmao. I'll bet that embroiders some really nice seams

------
2014 resolution: keep track of sewn yardage!! I'm subtracting fabric given away from my yardage in. Yeah!
In: 93 yards
Sewn: 61 yards

I'll try anything once :)

Please excuse my typos...sometimes it is harder to go back and edit on mobile than it is worth!

Didn't you mean weiner! Sure looks like a serger to me. And, I would not touch it with a 10 foot pole.

LOL.

But seriously, it's posts like this that keep me checking out CL. I keep thinking somebody is going to list a "used sewing machine" for $30 that turns out to be a TOL of some kind.

I have dachshunds. So "weiner" is insulting in this context. LOL

Funny ad indeed !

I couldn't believe my eyes when I spotted a Pfaff 1222,including the case and new looking foot control,on CL for 60 dollars a few months ago.The ad only said.....old sewing machine.Several e-mails later, the seller said the spool pins and presser feet are missing,he would sell me the machine for 40 dollars. The missing parts were no problem for me.

I use thread stands and have lots of Pfaff presser feet, including a spare Pfaff 1200 series high shank adapter for Pfaff snap-on presser feet.

I couldn't drive fast enough at the posted speed limit on the freeway and across a toll bridge.I was afraid someone else would get to the seller's house faster. Not !

The seller was a very nice and kind person and waited for me until the next day to try out the Pfaff. Yes,the Pfaff 1222 followed me home.

I just went back and re-read the ad I posted.

Gotta give this person credit.. he/she went through the work over posting over 200 ads. (at the time I checked, this seller has 236 items up!)

http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/user-manuals/26171/3851664190-Kenmore-Parts-OVERLOCK+SEWING+MACHINE-manual?pathRender=fromManualTabPage

If it has a bent or broken looper and you need the missing electric lead and the foot pedal on it, it probably would not be worth it.

If it did not, and worked and you had another Janome kind of machine, with the same lead cord and foot pedal already, and you could just switch back and forth anytime you wanted, then you could even use it as a 2nd overlocker just set up for rolled hem or something like that.

If you want to see something even funnier, if you look at the Sears parts list for it, they got a generic bolt on sewing machine walking foot listed there for it Which of course could never be bolted on there and used either, just since it's not a sewing machine. So even someone at Sears, at least for a moment once, thought it was a sewing machine too!!!
