We're talking Tim Hortons of course.

BESTEST donuts ANYWHERE!!!

So, my fellow Canucks (and some lucky USers!), what's your fave TimmyH donut?

Oh, and any ex-pat Canadians who happen to be Phoenix Coyotes fans...TimmyH coffee and hot choccie at the Coyotes home games!

PS: Don't be upset by the Coyotes photo; Fin is only giving Howler a kiss hello. Honest!

Due to the size of my thighs (and front spare tires) I avoid Tim's like the plague.

Mainly because I LOVE their Sour Cream Glazed donuts. These donuts might have the same effect on me that as crack cocaine. One is not enough. One dozen at a time might do it. Once out of money, I will steal yours off your plate, maybe even off your child's plate without any hesitation or shame.

I do like their coffee. But I will NOT wait in the crazy line ups some Tim's have just to get one. I also love their Sausage Breakfast Sandwich with the biscuit. It probably has enough salt for my weekly intake but it is so good - who cares??

Tim's & hockey. No matter where you go in Canada that is one thing we all seem to have in common. Can't wait for the Olympics. That is the best hockey there is. No fighting... just talent , speed, and skill in action. Go Canada!!!

Those are my next fave, the sour creams...OMG I could eat a jumbo box of sour cream bits in no time flat, all by myself. YUMMMM!!!

No need for hesitation or shame when it comes to Tim's donuts..."all's fair" and all that.

Never noticed that about Tims. To me Starbucks tastes burnt. I can only drink Starbucks in a latte where the milk hides the taste.

Double chocolate glazed doughnuts or apple cider Timbits, as far as Tim Horton's goes and Detroit Red Wings. Their coffee is great, but usually make our own. Starbucks coffee tastes like it was sitting on the brewer for 12 hours.

Best doughnuts, bar none, are from a very local convenience store in small town nearby. Their toasted coconut ones are fantastic. We get one every Sunday morning.

Another vote for sour cream glazed! I also think Starbucks tastes burnt.

Another vote for "Starbucks coffee tastes burnt".

Love their flavoured black teas though.

Double chocolate donuts or the plain glazed are favorites!

I'm a T.H.'s chili fan after having it twice now. Both times we wanted lasagna as a first choice & they were out a mere half hour after starting to serve it. Politely told the lady I'll go elsewhere next time. Hope some don't run out of lasagna so quickly!
It's that popular or they simply don't prepare enough to serve longer??

+1 on Starbucks coffee tasting burnt.

One of the very pleasant surprises of moving to Seattle has been how many non-Starbucks coffee options there are here. In our suburb, there's a drive-thru espresso kiosk one corner of every major intersection. Many of them are very, very good.

Outside of the kiosks, I like Victrola Roaster's coffee the best--I think they might be a local chain here?
