I loved seeing everyone's Burda makes from the Burda Challenges in past years, and am wondering if anyone is trying again this year. I am commited to the One Garment A Month Challenge, and since I primarily sew from Burda, looks like I will be particpating by default, I just need to make sue my montly garment is from the correct month of the magazine. Anyone want to join me?

I would be interested.

So would the January garment come from Burda World of Fashion from any year? I do not currently subscribe but I have stacks of the mag from previous years.

I'm not aware of this challenge but sounds interesting. Can you point me in the direction of more details, please? Thanks

I did the Burda Challenge in 2012 - my year-end review is here. Some months were easier than others!

I chose to sew from the current issue only, but I know Cabinbaby did the challenge in 2013 and decided do do it from that month's issue in any year, which would certainly give you more choices! It's up to you, really, however you decide to interpret it. :)

I also sew from Burdastyle often. And I really appreciate seeing the patterns made up by other helpful sewists. Oftentimes something that doesn't strike me from the photos in the magazine really looks great on a real person. I'd like to participate - especially if I can fudge on the year/month. Sometimes I can't get the issue until pretty late in the game.

squirrellypoo, thanks for chiming in! I enjoyed seeing your makes and you are definitely a major inspiration.
Annem, I am doing this challenge informally, and will be posting my makes here.
I am going with the "current month in any year" approach, because it is easier! I have muslined two dresses from January of 2013, but both need work. I will post my progress here, and am interested in seeing what everyone else is up to!

I'd love to join in as I have only recently discovered Burda Style at my local library. I don't subscribe though so I might be a little behind in using the month in question.

I loved seeing all your Burda clothes. Thanks for posting on this. That wiggle dress is totally gorgeous on you and a fab frock. Love the colour too.
