I signed up for this class, starts in March.

I am really excited! I went to the shop and saw a sample the instructor had stitched out, WOW.

Now to pick out fabrics....and thread......this one is very challenging!

Cat that looks like so much fun. Our only class store within reason is a Bernina dealer. And they aren't very imaginative when it comes to classes. Mostly just do Bernina related stuff. I would love to do something like this.

It is kind of far for me to go, and I am going to be freaked out driving there. But it was a lot of fun just talking about fabrics and looking at the samples.

Picking fabrics is proving to be a challenge! Part of the design is achieved by fabric and part is achieved by thread. That makes it harder for me to choose.

Just get a book on cd, you know which ones I'm referring to and drive. You'll be fine.

It would be really pretty in blue, blue green, green and blue violet--as long as some colors are lighter and others are darker in the shades and tones. Interesting pattern choice.

I am a Quilter at heart. I love to play with fabrics, patterns and colors. Recently I have discovered I enjoy doing applique. I love making pictures. Using a sewing machine is much easier than counted cross stitch or oil painting for me. I enjoy landscape quilting as well. I am working on my first applique project in the spring of 2014.

Now if I had an embroidery machine, I know I'd be all over this! Have fun Cat! Like everyone else, I can't wait to see what you make!
