I need to purchase stabilizers. I'm super happy with the thread I purchased and am wondering who has bought/tried the stabilizers, which ones, and how they worked for you.

Thanks.

Also open to other favorites for ordering online.

Hi Annette!
Get my stabilizers from allthreads.com
They are in Lees Summit and frequently arrive next day.
My favorite is adhesive back aqua melt for backing and topping.
I also love the extra heavy cutaway because it also comes in black...it is tough for dense designs but soft to touch.
There have been times when more than 11" wide would be nice and have only seen these in OP Bernina store.

I bought a huge roll of tearaway 15" x 50 yds from Metro last summer and it works great. Has a nice crisp feel and tears cleanly.

I have large rolls of both tear-away, cut-away, and wash away stabilizer. I also have some sticky stabilizer to use when something can't be hooped. There is not just one stabilizer that will work for everything.
I use mine as follows:
Shirts...tear-away or cut-away depending on fabric thickness
Towels...wash-away placed on top of the towels
Small or hard to reach items...Sticky stabilizer

I bought their 8x8 sheets of cutaway and tearway. Use and like them both.
