No explanation of markings

I just bought Burda 6912. The bodice is buttoned in the front and it has a jewel neckline. The Front pattern piece shows the neckline with the expected rows of numerous cutting lines for all the sizes. But, to the left of those lines is a whole other set of lines that are similar to the main cutting lines. Is there a way to send an image of this onto this site? I looked all over the internet for an explanation but i couldn't find one. Thanks!

Markings for buttons? Center line?

It could be the facing fold if the facing is not a separate pattern piece. Usually it is marked, but maybe there was a printing error.

OK, I think I just figured it out. After you sew on the facings at the neck, you are supposed to stitch the facing in place a the edge of the facing, so that it is like a topstitching. The second set of curved stitch lines that appear on the pattern piece are supposed to help you figure out where to stitch down the facing. Yeesh! I hope this is the answer to my puzzle. Thanks for the suggestions, everyone.
