Well a little back story,I bought a sewing machine about 10 years ago got irritated with it and its been i n the closet since.I took it out only to discover it had a broken cam and will only stitch straight:( (bad singer !!! lol)

not the end of the world but still.
So Ive decided to get a brother se 400 because I like the option of embroidery.
But -I also want to get an all metal vintage (NOT singer ) machine too.
Ok well ,I am going to look at a domestic 153 and if its still there sunday Im getting that one but I still want one that will do zigzag stitches because my kids and I are into making braided rag rugs and it requires a zig zag stitch.( been doing them by hand And its not fun!)
anyhow -Im looking at a white 3354 yellow twin needle
a universal deluxe zig zag a kenmore 1301 and a morse that really resembles the universal
alright ladies and gents you you have any opinions? I know It sounds like I have a problem lol But I love them all in different ways! And if you have any favorite vintage machiens Id love you to tell me about them and why you like them ,.thank you all so much .

Looking at these, none of them have a free arm, all are pretty basic. If it was me, I'd place a higher value on the Kenmore.

agreed. My sister used a kenmore it sewed and it is still going.
