Very pretty! Nice bright paisley and your planning for everything you need/want is spot-on. Love the zipper idea. Maybe I should get a planner instead of sticking post-it notes all over the place.

You got me! I just went to Amazon and snapped up a ScrapMaBob mug holder thingie. I have a huge bag of selvedges calling my name and this is perfect. Thanks for the inspiration.

Oh Lizz....

If you go on any retreats or even a full day class.... you absolutely *must* take it with you!

I get more compliments on this stupid thing than any other thing I ever bring to any sew-in type events.

For anyone else catching this, it's on *this page* of my blog and is soooo worth checking out.

Got my coffee cup in mine as we speak.

So tonight, I'm working on the selvedge edge version of the binder. I took a break a few hours ago to have a nice stack of chicken wings (Tequila Lime & a few BBQ - thanks, Costco!) along with a few slices of Espresso Cheese (again, Costco - and dang, this cheese is yummy!!) ... and... a big whoppin' glass of Fish Eye Chardonnay. Straight outta the box. High class, I tell you... high class. lol

This binder is going to be really cute... but what a PITA... I've conquered worse, I suppose. It's just difficult taking the time to write the steps as well as snap pictures along the way to put this one up as a tutorial.

It's already 11 PM here... I honestly could probably stay up until 2 or 3 again. At least my first "real" client isn't until 8:45 tomorrow... lol...

I really wish my sewing machines had clocks and timers on them. $6,000 worth of electronics and they couldn't build in a $5-Radio-Shack-quality-digital clock???

I was thinking the same thing. So often I am in workshops or classes and you would think there would be a clock in the room or built into the machines!
