Not sure if this is the right place to be posting this...

Tried to find tutorials on how to install a separating zipper. Couldn't find any! Is it the same as sewing a concealed zipper? Exposed? Thanks for the help...

I think you could do it as an exposed zipper or you could insert it in a way that looks similar to a centered zipper, used maybe on the back of a dress or skirt when you do not choose to do a lapped application. The difference being that the seam in which the separating zipper is placed is open on both ends.

You might try googling separating zipper tutorials. I am certain you will find many online.

How you choose to install the zipper may be influenced by the style of the garment in which you are installing the zipper.

There is a utube tutorial by Coats and Clark.

I had the idea that an exposed method would be the best route (just seemed logical... so things don't get stuck)! Thank you for the reply. Found the video!
