Made for Minnesota winter. Cordura outer, lined with cotton canvas, nylon grosgrain pull-up loops, reflective nylon grosgrain top edging. Made for sister in law's boxer pooch. Sweet doggy, has sensitive feet and trouble after a few minutes outside in Duluth MN. I used an internet instruction set to make these, and I'm hoping the back ones will fit. I fear that they are too tall. I did not have the dog handy for measuring or fitting.

They look great. Long is good for the back boots - they stay on better if they come up over the hock.

These look kind of like the You Tube video from the woman in Alaska. With that Cordura, they'll last forever and keep the dog's paws dry. Great job!

These are fantastic. I need to look into these for my old dog. He came in limping last night because one of those deicer chunks was in his toes. Ouch That deicer is another topic, it is hard on dog paws

I want to see a video of the dog walking in these.

Not that the boots aren't great (after all they were made by Al to help a poor little dog with freezy paws), it just could be the dog will balk at having anything covering the paws.

I can already envison my dog with boots....he would think he was being punished instead of being helped. He seems to think he is too "manly" for apparel other than his collar.

Thanks for all the compliments!
I want to see the doggy walk around in them, too! We will be visiting and deliver the booties a week from Friday, so then we'll see. I should bring a video camera!

My Bichons have used doggie boots for a number of years and have been very happy with the type you have made. The dog is very funny to watch when first experiencing this new "human" touch. If you persist however, they do adjust and seem to realize the boots do make winter more endurable. The dog will
also find its way back to the door and it saves the owner having to go out and retrieve the animal who is too cold to make it all the way back under their own steam For smaller dog types thick fleece works well. I hope your efforts are appreciated.
It was such a lovely thing to do.
