Is there a way to access your old topic threads that you start?

There must be a little bug in the system that will work to your advantage.

Go to the Search Board function to the upper right of the Message Board (not the review search section in the left column).
------------
Word to search, Surprise!, leave that blank. I know, there is a red asterisk and it's supposed to be filled in but leave it totally blank.

Click on Titles.

Name of poster. That's you. Fill in your name - include the space, no misspellings.
-----------
If you are looking for a specific topic you can fill in the search word accordingly. Being able to search with no search word was a surprise to me. If you put in a three letter search word the program will not search and kicks out a message that you need a four letter (or more) search word.

If someone tries this in the future it may not work as it must surely be a little buglet and may at some point be corrected.

You can access the same form by going to the search area, upper left. In the blank space, type anything at least 4 letters long, click on the down arrow, and select Boards, then click on Find. When the form comes up, just delete the letters you typed in. Click on either Titles or Messages, then type in your name, then Search.

If I've understood your question correctly, here's what I do. When I've started a topic I go to the band of click-able buttons close to the top of the page that start with "Tutorials." Keep heading to the right and click on"Replies on my Topics." That will tell you if there are any new posts, or it will say no new posts. Is this what you're looking for?

Interesting, wendy. I did not know this. I begin very few topics. Does this work only if the person used the Reply in the box so it's a direct reply to you or does it also work if one uses the Reply box at the bottom which I've just done? (You didn't start this thread so you can't test it.)

I'm not Wendy but....

The link opens a page with all the threads/topics you've started so you can check for new replies.

It

does not include anyone else threads that you've posted on nor does it show any replies that are directed towards you in a thread started by someone else.

Hope that makes sense.

simplystitches- thanks for adding more of how that link works. If there's any activity on threads I've started, that I have not yet read, it shows up. It has nothing to do with threads initiated by another person where I've posted.

Thanks, ladies. By the time I figure out (after all these years) the ins and outs of this site, Deepika will have come out with the new version which she had mentioned a year ago.
