Hey guys ..... I don't normally do this, but I have more detail on my blog. Too lazy to retype everything (don't worry mods, I don't sell anything on my blog).

Datcat's blog

This is my Yellow Tail Cami .... from Disparate Disciplines. Not a 100% success, but I am happier than I expected. I haven't been turned off totally, so I count that as a reasonable amount of success.

I think it's cute! The chevron is super cute and you gotta love the contrasting fabrics! :)

It looks fabulous. The chevrons really bring the eye to your face and your great smile!

It looks very nice. I love wearing camis under other things. There is no way I can wear one without my bra showing and I just can't do that. This looks like a great top to wear with a light cardigan for summer. Have you tried any of their other patterns? I'm intrigued by the tights but am slightly outside the hip range.

This cami will be paired with a light grey pair of knit pants, for pjs. I may use the pattern to make a knit cami's for under my clothes (I wear them a lot in winter), once I conquer the size issue. If I made a top for outer wear, then I would probably spend the time to design a wide strap that would cover the bra strap.

Thank you everyone for the lovely comments ..... I appreciate it.

I looked thru your blog post, I would say that your feeling that it was way too big may be because of using a rayon/vicose knit. I find that a knit like that is so fluid that I always have to take in inches on the sides, but in another knit it will be too tight.

I like the cami-it looks well drafted and a nice interesting design.

Does it have a built in bra, or could you put one in?
