Any suggestions for finding a color guide to cotton twill or duck fabrics available on line? I know that there are various color guides for quilting fabrics, eg. Kona Color Guide but I am interested in making apparel with say, a print top and twill bottom and trying to avoid having to order fabric and send it back because the solid color doesn't match the print.
I think there aren't any guides out there but this is a savvy group so thought I would ask.
Thank you very much!

I don't know of any such guide.
I think this will always be challenging because of computer monitor color differences. I buy the fabric and if it doesn't suit my needs--I use it as a muslin or add it to my stash.
Sending ahead for samples is your best chance of getting what you want. Sometimes you can order as little as 1/8 yard at a time.
Blue denim (twill) goes with everything!

You can also try to calibrate your monitor. At least all the colors are the same, and will be similar in real life (IMHO).
Investing in Pantone's color cards may help. Mostly, learning what fabric site calls one color (like fabric mart with "Cherry" for example) is a big help on it.
