I came across this fabric today and have tried to find the name of the print and the manufacturer. No luck.

If anyone knows what it is, please let me know.

I saw a bunch of fabrics similar to that at Joann's. Try looking online.

Yes, I noticed that and went to the Spotlight web site but the fabric is no longer available and there's no info on it. Maybe I should write to them and ask.

This is a cool fabric with a great story.

From the Salem, Oregon Statesman Journal, "Lorene Carnes, 92, was going to art school 70 years ago, but quit to go work in the shipping yards during World War II. Her portfolio sat in the garage until just last year, when a family friend who works at Robert Kaufman Designs in L.A. saw it during a visit. She took the designs back with her, where the designs were made into fabric that can be found in stores starting in June. The collection is called "Glamour Girls."

I have the link to this short article with a picture of her, but can't get it into this message. My other link seems to have expired.

If you are anywhere near Colorado Spring, Mill Fabrics on Prospect Street had it last summer.

I just checked an e-mail and fabric.com has Robert Kaufman cottons on sale through Mar 3. There are some patterns from this Glamour Girl collection included. Have fun!

Hi Yestersew! Thanks for sharing that great story. I saw some Glamor Girls fabric at Fabric.com last night. It was a few other designs in the line. Now that I know it's Kaufman's and the GG line I can always check online from time to time.

Btw, I'm in north Lakewood. Nice to meet you!
