I made myself quite a few fleece socks from a different pattern. Also made a pair for my mom and she liked them so I'm wanting to make her more. The pattern I used, however, has a left and a right sock. Even I sometimes have trouble figuring out which is which when putting them on. I've seen the green pepper pattern mentioned several times and I'm wondering if it might be more like a regular sock; IE, left and right are interchangeable?

The socks from the GP pattern I have used are interchangeable. I think there are two GP patterns; the one I used doesn't have the knee sock option.

The 504 socks are also interchangeable.

Your photo link no longer works. The pattern information no longer includes the sock patterns.

well, here is the link to their website. I ordered the 504 and 527 patterns. I was surprised to learn they are in Eugene, Oregon, just an hour south of me. Considering how many people like their patterns (at least judging by this message board) makes it even stranger that the pattern for fleece socks that I bought at a fabric store in Portland (two hours away from Eugene; I'm halfway between the two) wasn't theirs. So I wind up shopping more locally online than by going into a local store...

yes, I know, there is nothing I can do about it. Webshots went out of business, and there's no way for me to recapture the photos. At least you can see the pic (not sure how that works). C'est la vie....

The link I provided to the patterns does include the socks, however, so that observation is incorrect. I think it is the PR link that may be wrong, but again I can't fix that.

I've made the 527 a number of times, just have to remember to make them longer, and to lay them out in the correct direction for the stretch (how would I know that? sigh)

Are you aware of The Rain Shed in Albany? They used to be in Corvallis. They also have a fleece sock pattern and sell high quality fleece.
