Does anyone know if the quilting thread sold by Connecting Threads has a coating or glaze on it that would harm my sewing machine. Sometimes these kind of threads are more for hand quilting....not good for machine. I've tried googling it, but can't find any info as to what a satin finish really is.
BTW, the thread is called Essential 100% Cotton Satin Finish thread.

I use their thread all the time. Never had a problem of any sort.

I have never had a problem with the thread and have used it for machine quilting, garment sewing and hand quilting.
