I have been sticking to a fabric fast for a long time....long, long time.
I saw this fabric and I LOVE it. THIS

Can anyone recommend a blouse pattern for this fabric? Thank you! (Lynn Rowe you have a knack for this)

Oooh I would love a Matilde Blouse (Tilly and the Buttons) in that fabric...or any retro pattern. I get a contemporary but retro vibe from that print :0) have fun!

You might email Anne of Apple Annie… She is very helpful and very smart when it comes to matching fabric to pattern. When I lived in RI, her store was a frequent stop. It is a very interesting fabric and she will probably have a suggestion.

I'd think you'd want a fairly simply pattern so that the focus is on the fabric. Anything fussy and the fabric design is going to overwhelm it.

Something like Burda 11/2013 #103A (it's available as a download).

edited to add - or my favorite blouse I've made lately,
Burda 09/2012 #118 also available as a download

Perhaps a simple shell or woven tank? Sorbetto comes to mind.....perhaps not exciting to sew, but you want the fabric to be the star here.

Ooh I like that second Burda that Pinkytoo posted. That would look so current!
