Has anyone purchased these patterns lately? What do you think? It seems some are from the 80's because of the "big" shoulders, but then some seem to be recent.

The instructions seem to be only available online, though, and not included in the envelope. Is that right, or am I misunderstanding?

Edited here: I meant to post under "Patterns and Notions." Could a mod move it? Thanks.

I believe they stopped making new designs in the 90's(I think). I think they are well drafted, but I would think you might need to make some changes, depending on how retro you wan to look.

On their website it says they have new patterns for 2014. Although I tried to find them and finally gave up. From the two photos in the little "video" at the top of their website, it looks like the 2014 patterns are a nice, up-to-date collection. I wonder where the new patterns are hiding? Most of the patterns on their home page are very dated, and clicking "shop now!" just flips you to the other image in the "video."

I heard the same thing Andi said. I purchased a Neue Mode pattern for my DD's wedding dress. Rather than a tissue pattern, it seemed to be printed in large format on heavy white paper as needed. And yes, the instructions had to be downloaded from the Neue Mode site.

Thanks for your input everyone.

I went to sewingpatterns.com and found their new releases for 2014, but I'm not really impressed. I clicked on the "download instructions" on several of their patterns. None in English + it printed out waay too small. Could not increase font size or page. Maybe someone else might have better luck, or maybe something's wrong with my printer.

I've bought them here in the past my notions
They've been traditional envelope patterns, similar to the older Burda with no SA, and guide sheets were inside

My grandmother taught me to sew when I was 10, and I've been sewing ever since.
