As usual, a link to the Russian blog with photos for the May 2014 edition.

ETA: Now with more photos, but there are probably still more to come -- it's worth checking back every so often.

wow - so fast! Looks like there could be some cute stuff, but hard to tell without the line drawings. Summer is always hit and miss for me.

I *totally* need the line drawings for Burda because they are so editorialized...but so far I really like a few of these even though they aren't necessarily "special"

The next 3 months are usually VERY hit and miss for me, but I find Burda sufficiently entertaining that I don't bother to pause my subscription even though I can rarely pick out more than 1 or 2 patterns over the summer. So far, nothing grabs me, but you never know what else might pop up when more photos are available.

I was a subscriber for almost 20 years, and my experience was that Burda designers simply lost their minds when summer got near. Not much has changed, eh?

A hopeful sign is the maxi dress that doesn't have a neckline plunging down to the navel

I like that maxi dress. I'm not generally into maxi dresses, but I might actually sew this one. I also think the jersey dress with the gathered/draped neckline and raglan sleeves looks promising. For the rest, it's hard to tell without line drawings, but the issue looks promising so far!

I'm another member of the Line Drawings Club, LOL!

It seems that the peplum top from the preview is the bodice of the pink/salmon dress shown on the blog.

I'm excited even if my bikini hopes are dashed. I went back to the preview text and it's for the kids section, it seems. Oh well...

Oh, westmoon, how I look forward to these monthly posts of yours. :)

At a glance, there's not much that makes me too excited about this issue, but the full skirted floral dress where the model's on the phone looks like it's potentially up my alley.
