I use fusi-knit which has cross stretch but is stable on the lengthwise -- great for edges that need to be stabilized (I use if when I find installing a zipper necessary -- makes putting in an invisible zip a breeze).

I also use a soft all bias tricot from HeatNBond which has the same properties as the one mentioned above (controlled stretch in all directions).

I also use a lightweight fusible woven in areas I may want to have completely stable (removes the stretch of the fabric) -- I use this most often when doing skating and dance shirts that have a traditional shirt design but are made from nylon/spandex -- works great for stable collars and cuffs.

Fashion Sewing Supply.......me too. Ordered enough, along with the sample pack and some elastic, to utilize free shipping to reduce the price. A solid investment - perhaps a friend or two would share an order with you. The quality is beyond noticeable. It is like the difference between cooking with a crummy beat up pan and a quality piece if cookware.

A third vote for Fashion Sewing Supply. You can't imagine the different in the quality until you see/feel/use it.

PattyE's link? Working off my iPad. Should pull up for you if you just search Fashion Sewing Supply.

Now the link is working, but when I type it in my box and hit enter, it give me an error 403.
