Hi,
I recently purchased a Brother 2340cv and I am wondering what the best settings (tension, width, differential, etc.) would be for hemming 100% cotton sweatshirt fleece (weight = 12oz per linear yard).
Thanks so much!
Crystal

LOL That's okay. Go ahead and post your question in the Sergers, etc. thread and you'll get some good answers.

Hi and welcome!! I have the same machine. I'm not sure if the fabric I used on this dress is the same as what you're using but it can be a starting point. The tension I used from left to right was 3.5/3.5/not used/6. This is a 2 thread cover stitch using the left and middle needles. The best recommendation is take a scrap of fabric and test it out first. My other recommendation is learn how to quickly unpick a cover stitch. I'll save you a lot of headache. Unpicking tutorial Good luck.

Thanks for the tip! What did you have the differential feed set on?
