Hi there!

Anyone know where I can buy a pfaff ambition 1.0 online for no more than $850 taxes and shipping included?

I've been wanting this sm for sometime now and even though my budget was set $500 I'm selling some personal items and can now manage $850, but no more. The closests pfaff dealer to me won't sell for less $1100. Any help would be greatly appreciated as my walmart project runway brother is finally out of commission and I'm getting really antsy not having a machine around.

I don't believe you can buy a new Pfaff online... same is true of Elna, BabyLock, Bernina and Viking. Typically you can only buy Janome and Brother online. That $1100 does seem high to me tho for the 1.0. I think the new 2.0 (that replaces the 1.5) is that much in my area. Might you be able to call some dealers in your state or a neighboring state and possibly arrange for it to be shipped to you? Otherwise, might need to make a road trip. I am positive you can find one for $850-ish if you call around.

Thank you for your response! I've called a few other places now and all want $999 minimum not including taxes or shipping. I've done a lot of research and just don't see how it can still be so much. I'm going to start calling out of state and see if I can get someone to ship. Maybe they can tell I'm desperately in search if it?

I'm not feeling very positive about getting my dream machineI felt like this had the perfect mix of fulfilling my needs, wants, growth as a sewer. I've always been so focused on this model... Should I settle? Is there a machine out there just like this one?

Check sewingmachinewarehouse.com . They r showing a used pfaff ambition 1.0 for 599.00 under pre owned. Don't know if they still have it or not but they r always getting used trade ins. They are located in Houston and Conroe Tx. Since they have it listed online they may sell that way. .. they get some good deals on trade ins. U haven't lost anything by checking it out.

I hope it's a legit website. Buying used makes me nervous, but it's at a perfect price point for me thank you!

I'd much rather pay than finance something. I really need to keep to this budget or I won't have any funds to buy fabric with!

sewingwarehouse is a legit place. I buy from there. I live in Conroe. Was in AR but moved back here last summer. It is where I'm from. I don't know if they sell online but the machine is online if they have it. They sell all kinds of brands of sewing machines and used ones. I have a brand new pfaff anniversary expression 150 from there. It is an awesome machine. I am probably going to be selling it though. I hate too but we have some medical expenses now. My husband and I are seniors and we r both diabetics. I have serious complications to deal with.

Pom, let us know what you find out when you call. Buying gently used would be a real savings for sure. There will (or should) be some sort of warranty with it. Usually 90 days but sometimes up to a year but the warranty would give you some peace of mind. That price may be a tad negotiable too..just so you know. I say that bc they almost always are. Good luck!!
