The Singer-Viking-Pfaff rep was by today. I saw a leaflet showing a Singer coverstitch machine. Looks like the Brother possibly (I only had a second to look at it darn it). Will probably go for under $600 but that's a guess!

The 14T968DC is only $409 on Amazon and you get a serger and a coverstitch (three needle capability). I bought one this week and am loving it so far!

ETA: I'm leaving my Janome serger set up and am using the 14T968DC as a coverstitch only.

Personally I think the Pro5 is a better value. Lots of stitch options for less $$. It's a great machine!

4 coverstitches? Are they counting a chainstitch as one?

FREE accessories?! Like spool holders and needles you need to run the thing? Please.

It might include feet, too. My 14T968DC came with six additional feet, which was actually a very nice little bonus.

If it's just a coverstitch, what kind of feet does it need?
