My daughter sent me this photo and asked if I can make it for her.
It is evidently one piece and the front overlaps and drapes. I wish she had sent a back photo so I can see if the seams are sewn or if they tie in some way.
Any pattern ideas I can work from?

Vogue 1567, view E would be my pick. It's also available over at Etsy (and it's cheaper there -- I used the Ebay listing because the zoom feature provides a better look at the line drawings).

Yes, I could see view E. I like the halter types too.

I found this:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-1972-Simplicity-Wrap-Tie-Halter-Style-Top-and-Pants-Pattern-Size-8-/151276527433

But can't read the pattern number completely. But the top you want looks easy enough to frankenpattern one. I have a book titled "Make Your Own Patterns" which has a page on converting a regular blouse pattern into a halter neck.

------
height 5'2" bust 36, waist 31, hip 39.
I have way too many yards to count, and I will never use them up, but I will die trying!
