Opinions on industrial sergers and which are good for thick layers of knits... bamboo and hemp french terry, hemp fleece, etc.... and also thin 1 layer knits as well. THANKS!!
I really really want the back tacking back latching capbility, looks like a newer add on.... ANyone have experience with this and does it work Just at the beginning or does it back tack at the end? I've read 2 places of machines that do it at the beginning and end but most say just at the beginning. THANKS!

I would think back tacking might just be the same as when you take your serger chain and wrap it front of where you are going to sew when starting out? I don't think you need anything special for that, I think you can do that on any overlocker? At the end of something though, I think you would have to flip your fabric around the other way. Or are you talking about some air blowing something someplace?

Yeah I'm going to skip that part... it just takes the tail and threads it through the serging... on the underside, same as if I take a tapestry needle and thread the tail.. if it did it for me automatically at the END of sewing I would be all over it... but since it's just at the start it doesn't help me since I sew in squares or circles... etc. I cut off the beginning at the end anyway lol.
Still would love feedback on this machine!! thanks!
