I have had some great white denim in my stash for about 20 years (!) and I would love to make a great denim jacket. I'm headed out to Joann's to get a pattern and decided to check on the computer for one. I can't seem to find even one pattern for a denim jacket like this one. Anyone have any ideas?

Style Arc has a denim jacket that has been reviewed here.

KwikSew's 2895 is a good classic pattern. I made this two times and both jackets looked very nice. Hmm, I didn't review them, that was bad of me, and now I don't have them any more.

I see fabric.com has one for sale.

Thanks, Sewliz! I will check it out as well. I'm headed to Joann's, so I will see if they have something in Burda or KwikSew.

I just did a PR search for denim jackets and pulled about five.

Not exactly like you are looking for, but I like this Sandra Betzina Jacket by Vogue and they are on sale at JoAnn today.

This Islander Pattern looks good. You have to ignore the ugly fabric on the envelope and check out the line drawings.

Louise Cutting's By Popular Demand jacket has been very popular. Should be lots of reviews on it here at PR, too.

One thing you get with a Louise Cutting pattern is great, awesome, clear instructions. Sometimes those alone are worth the price of the pattern, IMO.

I know you said you want to get the pattern from Joann, but I would really highly recommend the style arc Stacie jean jacket. It has really great shaping and nice overall lines that keep the finished product from being too boxy.

I am just finishing the Sandra Betzina denim jacket and I love it!! It might be a little more involved than you were planning but it's a great jacket for denim.
