As usual, the link is to our favourite Russian blogger:

Yes!! These are what I was waiting to see from the last page of May! I've seen these shorts-with overlay in Manequim a few months ago, and Simplicity just released a version, too, but I vaaaaaaastly prefer Burda's draft! Yay!

These remind me of what we used to call "scooter skirts" in the days of yore. You are probably too young to remember. They were quite the thing in the early 70's.

I'm seriously thinking about re-upping my subscription. I took a break for awhile but am really like a lot of the latest designs.

I ended up buying May off ebay.

Those shorts are adorable!

Squirrellpoo - The Burda version is WAY better, I agree, than the Simplicity version!!!

I normally need to see the line drawings but I'm loving this one. Much more than May. I will need to call GLP and order!

I was just there yesterday and found nothing. Was waiting for this!!!

I need line drawings because several dresses are calling out to me. Need to work down the fabric stash. (Plus school is almost out, yay!)

Dreadful isn't it. Normally Burda seem to make their samples two sizes too large for their models but those are definitely entirely the wrong size in the other direction.

Ohhhhh.....I thought the Simplicity shorts were way strange looking but these....these are cute. These I could rock.

.....Sooooo how does a non-subscriber get a Burda mag, and what do they cost? XD /burdanewbie
