The second one reminds me of the Singer L-500.

I've seen the price of the Janome 6500p dropping online and wondered with the release of their 8000 series machines if they might not discontinue selling them as Janome. This is interesting.

Well, I guess nobody will be complaining about the quality of these Singers... I'd still get the Janome version if that was what I wanted unless these were much cheaper...

The gold color reminds me of Baby Lock....

I noticed that straight stitcher in the Janome version on C/L here a few weeks ago for 100 dollars... I don't need another straight stitcher, but I should have gotten it to resell! But, I fall in love with machines and can't sell them once I get them...

Thanks for sharing...

------
My machines listed in the order I got them:

Vintage metal Brother straight stitcher (Gretta)
Brother PC-420 (Benny)
Bernina Artista 200 (Miss Priss)
Vintage hand crank Singer 128 clone with LaVincendora decals (Vinny)

The one on top reminds me a lot of a 15-91, functionally.

No surprise really. Janome has made
machines for badging for a long long time . Kenmore comes to mind. In fact I see Sears now offers Singer machines.
