My co worker in Seattle is going again. She was so inspired when she went to the first one. The have a free craftsy course of the key note speakers. There is also local chapters of the Modern Quild Guild.

awesome.

the seattle MQG would be my local chapter if meetings weren't held in the city, so i'm just a generic online member. i live on the eastside, and i will not drive in to seattle in rush hour traffic unless there is an emergency. :)

I just joined a nearby MGQ and heard about Quiltcon on Thursday. Apparently almost all the hotel rooms have sold out even before registrations starts.

I think it would be great to go to, but I have already booked a trip to Mexico in November and there is no way I can afford two trips.
