The selections of zippers available to me locally are limited, so wondering if anyone can share online sources for zippers. I'd also like to find fancier zippers (metal ones like the one included in the link below), and I'd also like to know where I can purchase zippers at wholesale in bulk...any suggestions?

Zipper like this one...

Pacific Trimming has some fantastic zippers with a variety of really neat pulls. They're pricey, though. For most of my regular zippers (invisible, pants, and home dec types) I buy them at Wawak when they're having a sale.

Ditto Wawak. You can't beat the selection and prices are terrific. Shipping is only $5 per order and is extremely fast - I ordered 48 zippers a few weeks ago and had them within 4 days of ordering. The total price was approx. $14 including shipping.

Their website is a bit cumbersome but once you get their actual catalog, it is MUCH easier to find things.

Cleaner's Supply is a sister company and has equally good service and shipping is only $4 per order.

I highly recommend Zipit on Etsy. I just bought some, two dozen actually, from them at an excellent price, really fast shipping, amazing selection and colors! And they have the metal zippers too. You should check them out.

I'll be watching for links to fancy zippers. I second (third??) wawak for the basics. I just got 75 7" nylon zippers for $9.98 in assorted colors. And I got 25 invisible zippers for ~$7 in assorted colors and lengths.

You CAN choose your colors/lengths but I was happy with the assortment to have a basic zipper collection.

Check Cleaners Supply -- it's pretty much the same catalogue (as far as I can tell).

I've bought lots of zippers and other supplies and very happy with the service.

I second zipper stop. They will send you a color card with actual zipper fabric on it.
