After seeing this, I had to add it to my to-sew list, but I can't seem to find the pattern name. Does anyone know the name of this pattern? and if there is a tutorial for it anywhere?

Thanks.

I am sorry, but my computer shows a photo. I assume it doesn't show up elsewhere, so I will try to find a link to the photo.

I will look in my quilt books but to
Me it looks like a pinwheel quilt.

I think that's a pinwheel variation, I like it!

Tilted Square-in-a-Square tutorial

I think this is the basic block used, although the square in the center of the tie quilt is smaller than the center square in the tutorial.

Thanks for finding that.

I tried to sew a practice square using that same pattern - but because there are 4 "points" to the quilt pattern I posted, the last point has to overlap the first - kind of like a log cabin.

I was given a bag of over 200 ties to make a quilt - hopefully i can figure this out soon.

Again, thanks for your help.
