I received a very nice donation of fabrics for my textiles class, but am realizing I don't have enough storage space to keep all of them. I'd like to donate them to a senior/teen sewing class, or a church group. There are florals in woven cottons and synthetics, and all white woven cottons. Very good quality. If you have any leads, I'd appreciate your posting them here. I am willing to drive them and drop them off. 8 boxes, 6" x 30".

You could call the nearest high school and middle school, and see if the theater arts teacher could use them.

Another option is your local Senior Center - many times there will be a quilting groups or doll making groups that can use the fabric. Also, you could check with ASG -LA (www.asgla.org) they have several Teen Sewing Groups who might want the fabric.

Depending on where you are located in LA (it is a big place) the Continuing Education Sewing classes at Cypress College (which is in Cypress) accepts donated fabrics for the beginning sewing classes, serger classes and such.
