Has anyone tried the Flynn Free Motion Quilting System for making your own quilting fabric for making clothing or for regular quilting?

Or for making quilted fabric for bags or the like, or making your own quilted fabric for just plain crafting?

If so, do you like it? Is it as easy to operate as the Tutorial says?

Flynn Free Motion Quilting System

Am asking because thinking of possibly buying one...

You may get more responses if you posted this in the quilting section. I would like to know others' experiences also.

Had one and, for me, it was a PIA to use. You need a lot of table room. There are others on the market and I have the same personal opinion. You have a limit as to the harp area of the machine being used.

I no longer use anything other than the sewing machine and embroidery machine for specific effects. I made outlines of paw prints, bones and mouse for a dog/cat quilt with machine embroidery software and the embroidery machine. I did not purchase the embroidery machine specifically for quilting, it just happened as a "light bulb" moment.

Back to the sewing machine; have you seen the Sharon Schambler videos on youtube? I have found them very helpful.
