| | What auralynne likes about this machine I love the speed of this machine - it's semi-industrial and very FAST! I have a home business, so I do a lot of sewing - not too much hard sewing or thick fabrics, but a lot of volume, and so far all I've done to it is taken out the bobbin and cleaned it several times. With every other machine I've owned, I could feel it sewing gradually less and less nicely as the timing started to get off, but this one sews just as beautifully now as it did the first time. What auralynne does not like about this machine It's a pretty basic machine. It does straight stitch, zig zag, triple stretch, and a few others, but none of the fancy embroidery stitches. Also, it isn't possible to adjust the speed of the machine. If you press the pedal very very lightly, you may or may not be able to get it to go slower for a second. | *LOGIN to add a comment to this review *Only registered members can post comments to the reviews. | Reader Comments | | johnr55 | 3/30/08 | Sounds like you have just what you need; my sister used to be a belly dancer and the outfits aren't necessarily as simple as they look. I wish you the best of luck with your machine--remember, the fewer toys, the fewer things to break! | | * * * | | twinmommy | 4/6/08 | My manual says that you can adjust the speed by using a screwdriver to turn a screw on the foot pedal. I haven't tried it, but it's worth looking into if you want to slow down the speed. | | * * * |
