| | What oohisay likes about this machine The only other machine I've ever used was an ancient Singer, and while that old machine looked much nicer, this Brother has been very nice to me. For a beginner, it's very easy to learn on and has just enough "complicated stuff" to keep my from getting frustrated. Despite my very uneven style, it sews straight, seems rugged, and only very rarely questions my demands. What oohisay does not like about this machine I am concerned about the amount of plastic, particularly the presser-foot lever and the pedal. I'm not sure how these will hold up over time, though I haven't had any problems yet. I also wish the thread cutter was set further back so that I wouldn't have to keep resetting the top thread through the presser foot. | *LOGIN to add a comment to this review *Only registered members can post comments to the reviews.
