| | What Vonnie Bloom likes about this machine I purchased this machine for the purpose of Sewing my baby carriers, I liked the walking foot on it and found that it cut my time in 1/2 compared to the last machine I was using What Vonnie Bloom does not like about this machine In the past 5 months since I purchased this machine, it has had to be sent back to OH for repairs, The first time was within 45 days of purchase and now it is on its way there again.
I am more than dumb founded about the breakage on this machine and the fact that it always has to be returned to OH for repairs. | *LOGIN to add a comment to this review *Only registered members can post comments to the reviews. Membership is free. if you are not a member, please Sign-up now! |

Good Luck... | | * * * | | Betakin | 6/19/08 | It is surprising to me also that this machine has had to have several repairs. One of my machines is a Pfaff 1530 that I have owned for several years and I use it as my heavy duty machine because my other machines are computerized and I baby them more.. My 1530 is a real tough machine. Can you say what the problems where with your machine that required it being sent to Ohio for repairs?
I know that some of the newer Pfaff's have a different type of hook that is not metal and I am curious if this has been the problem with your machine. | | * * * | | Debs | 6/20/08 | Interesting: I have this machine also, and have had no troubles with it. It does have a metal hook. I have found it to run smoothly and take packcloth, webbing, sailcloth and other heavy utility fabrics in its stride. I am curious that you say it has a needle up/down setting. I wasn't aware of it. How does it work? | | * * * |
