What mistygirl902 likes about this machine This is a fantastic sewing machine. The stitch quality is outstanding no matter what kind of fabric I'm using. I love the fact that it never eats fabric at the start of a seam and doesn't create thread nests. The florescent light illuminates the needle area brilliantly and make is very easy to see your work. This machine has completely eliminated "equipment caused" frustration from my sewing experience. (Operater caused frustration is another matter :).
The wonderful Bernina feet make this great machine even better and have definitely improved the quality of my work. The Bernina website has short video clips demonstrating the use of each presser foot as well as lots of other tips and ideas.
I feel like a sewing diva when I use this machine. After a lifetime of putting up with quirky sewing machines I'm in sewing heaven.
What mistygirl902 does not like about this machine I love everything about this machine. I wish it had a "low bobbin" indicator, but I've learned to recognize subtle changes in how is sounds and acts just before the bobbin runs out, so I can usually catch it before the bobbin is completely empty.
It did take me a long time to learn how to use the needle threader, but that was more me than the machine. After I spent time practicing I got it.
